Dr. Amina Wadud specializes in Islam, gender and Qur’anic studies. She authored multiple books such as “Inside the Gender Jihad: Reform in Islam”; “Introduction to Islam: A Reader”; and “Qur’an and Woman: Rereading the Sacred Text from a Woman’s Perspective.”. In this conversation, Dr. Amina Wadud shares the presence of the Divine Feminine in the Islamic culture.


Reverend Karen-Georgia Thompson, who is an Associate General Minister for Wider Church Ministries. Last 2020, she released her poetry book titled, “Drums in Our Vains”. Her book pivot around injustices experienced by Africans. In this conversation, Rev. Karen-Georgia Thompson brings attention the portrayed image and race of God as a black woman.
